Woman Can Take The Lead Financially

For a long time, any of the finances that came into a household was brought in and controlled by our male counterparts, whom were seen as the only breadwinners. Today, decades later, we can see a significant change in this dilemma, with many household incomes now running as a result of joint incomes, from both male and females.

Remember when society placed higher value on the role men played in this world? Remember when woman had to stay at home, look after the kids and make sure there was a meal on the table for her husband each night he got home? Remember when men contributed more, if not all, of the household income?

YES! Those days are over, and if you've not missed the bus, by choice ofcourse, woman now have the power to 'run the world'. Woman for a long time have remained underrepresented and misunderstood, but due to many who have fought for the dignity, empowerment and freedom of woman, things have been set straight and the gender gap has been bridged.

According to an article in the New York Times, Colleen Keast boldly says "Woman are the new providers". How empowering and enriching is this statement?! Simply put, woman have the advantage of doing and achieving just as much or even more than their counterparts financially. And this is where we can take our hats off to our fellow woman making a difference through business. Woman CEO's and Founders are emerging from all walks of life, and their influence is paving the way for other females to follow in their footsteps.

We want to encourage woman to move beyond their comfort zones, nothing you put your mind to is impossible and with so many resources available to the advantage of woman, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING. You no longer need to feel underestimated, because you CAN take the lead!

XOXO
